I just changed (May 2010) from Windows7 Mac 15 "Powerbook Pro (i7). This car is a dream!

startup time after a full stop is about 30-45 seconds, even with tons of software. The closure is perhaps 10 seconds! You can close the lid to put it to sleep, open the lid and voila! No waiting! (My one year at the top of the line laptop Win7 grinds on, install updates, I get constant popups saying I have to do with this or that - which I have now forgotten what I do when I switched.

As I wanted more change in the new Apple MacBook Pro by the end perfect in many ways, has great design, performance, display excellent. However it has some minor flaws: it heats a lot. I use it mainly at home and almost always on the table, but when I actually put somewhere close to the skin burns just unbearable, so it is difficult to call this a laptop:), the curves near the trackpad, where the niche 'opening (do not know how you call this part))) and for some reason they did so strong that sometimes leave marks on her hands, while the trackpad. Works very well for my needs as back up at home or as primary in my motorhome when traveling.
